Lucky Orange users may have recently noticed that their Dashboard is showing website traffic is trending significantly higher. You may already know why some visitors are not being recorded, but what could cause the increase in website traffic?

This increase is not a cause for alarm, nor does it indicate any problem with your site or Lucky Orange. in fact this is a good thing! You should see the Lucky Orange stats align more closely with 3rd party stats like Google analytics.

Here’s what has happened: In April 2016, Lucky Orange finished an update and major investment into how we record and store data. The update included many improvements and enhancements, including:

•          Optimized tracking efficiency
•          More consistent tracking of visitors using older browsers
•          Added support for Edge users
